  • Reviews

reviews are here ⭐ scanned a receipt? now you can rate the spot too. give it 1 to 5 stars, add a few words if you want, and you'll earn rafl points either way. points never depend on your rating. love it or not, just be honest. 1. your rating counts. every business shows its real average from every review, not just the good ones. 2. favorites. businesses can feature reviews they love and reply to them right on their profile. 3. stay low-key. post anonymously as "a rafl player" if you'd rather not show your name. 4. change your mind? edit or delete your review anytime. 5. hear back. a business might send a quick thanks, or reach out privately if something went wrong. you choose whether to open it, and they never get your number unless you share it. texting instead of using the app? reply with a number and a few words, like "4 great coffee, slow line."

  • Star ratings and featured reviews on partner pages

After a confirmed receipt, players leave a star rating and review, and can edit or delete it later. Once a business has enough ratings, its page shows the true average of every rating, plus reviews the business chooses to feature.

  • raf answers questions on the rafl website

Visitors can ask raf about prizes, partners and points, then text WIN, get the app or open a partner page. Business owners can leave their details right in the chat, and the founders follow up.

  • Ask raf for nearby partners that are open now

Ask raf what's nearby and it ranks partners by distance from your ZIP code, says which are open now or later today, and matches what you're looking for. It remembers your ZIP so it doesn't ask again.

  • raf answers your texts before you sign up

The first time you text rafl, raf introduces itself as rafl's AI assistant and answers your questions right away. Agreeing to texts only controls marketing messages, not the conversation.

  • Partners create their own Tap Tasks

Partners write a custom Tap Task in the portal and set its points within their plan's budget. Players see it after checking in, complete it, and show a code to staff, who confirm it at the counter.

  • rafl is live on the App Store

Anyone with an iPhone can download rafl from the App Store. The short link in rafl's marketing opens the store listing.

  • See which gift cards make up the prize pool

In the app and on the website, each prize pool lists the businesses that contributed and the value of their card, plus rafl's share, which is awarded as gift cards to other local businesses.

  • See partner businesses on a map

The all-spots list and the nearby card on Home switch to a map. Pins show what you can earn today and which spots you've already tapped. Each business page has its own map with directions.

  • Scan a receipt in the app for bonus points

Snap a paper receipt or a screenshot of an emailed one. rafl reads it in seconds and awards points if it matches a recent visit to that business. Buying something never changes your drawing odds, and receipt images are kept for a limited time.

  • raf answers players' texts in plain language

Every text to rafl is read by raf, rafl's assistant, which answers questions about points, prizes and partners from live data. Opt-out keywords and legal messages are always handled the fixed way, and if raf has trouble the old keyword replies take over.

  • A quick in-app tour for new players

New players get a quick tour with three short paths: using rafl, earning points, and claiming a win. Finishing all three earns a one-time points bonus. The tour can be replayed from Settings.

  • Text WIN to play, no app needed

Text WIN to rafl's number and you're entered. By text you can also send a receipt photo, follow a business and invite friends for points, and a web dashboard shows your points and history. The website now leads with "one text. you're in."

  • Players earn points for inviting friends

Players share their code or link from the app or by text. Both players earn points when the friend joins, and sending invites earns a little too, with a daily limit. The friend's invite link opens the app directly when it's installed.

how we decide

We weigh what players and partners ask for, what keeps prizes fair and legal, and what local partners need to succeed.

Up next isn't a date. Plans can change as we learn.
